SAN FRANCISCO (Xinhua) — Business software giant Oracle Corp. on Monday said that it has agreed to pay about 1.5 billion U.S. dollars to buy RightNow Technologies Inc., a provider of cloud-based customer service.

The purchase is expected to broaden Oracle’s cloud computing offerings, or the delivery of software and other services online.
