Many people have succeeded in business and in life by simply doing among other things – make as many friends as they can.
The following is a sample of a one week plan on how to win friends. This plan when followed will result to not only making more friends but would guarantee a more pleasant week than what an individual has experienced before.
Day One – Think of an old dear friend who have been out of reach or contact for quite sometime. Write or send an e-mail to this person a friendly, conversational personal letter.
Day Two – Start the day with a smile and greet every acquaintance on the street or at work with a smile. Also, say a few words of praise to at least one person.
Day Three – Say something pleasant to every close associate encountered at work.
Day Four – Make a telephone call to someone just recently met and would like to know better. If possible, extend an invitation for refreshment.
Day Five – Find someone who is not very popular and pay a lot of attention to know more about that person.
Day Six – Carry on a conversation with a stranger – a food server in a restaurant or to a fast food service crew, a bus or taxi driver, a vendor. If possible, praise that person for something pleasant he has done.
Day Seven – Encourage two people to talk about themselves. Say little only about self. Get the two people do more of the talking.
Most people are standoffish and that is the hindrance to making friends. The aforementioned seven day plan may seem crafty, but it is indeed helpful.

Virtual assistance is a growing industry. This profession is getting popular particularly to the population of a female with a family. According to some people whom I have known personally, the job has many advantages to both Business owners and a VA, here are some of them:
Benefits to the Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants are generally skilled worker, a self-trained and majority received a compensation on per basis, in which for me is the main reason why this profession is getting popular, because the rate that will going to receive by the employee will based on their output task.

In today’s world of instant gratification and on-demand demands, business communication not only has to be effective, but it also has to be quick. With 24-7 access to messaging technology, there is really no excuse any more for “not getting back to you.”
Here are some helpful hints for getting the most out of your business e-mails:
- Short and Sweet: Get to the point. This is not your opportunity to wax poetic about the weather or the game on tv last night. If you expect people to respect your time, respect theirs first.
- Don’t send an e-mail just to chat: If you want to chat, call someone on the phone after hours. Make it clear what you want out of the e-mail. You may want to make the crucial parts stand out by putting them in bold or italics, or even bold italics
- Keep the slang on the down low: Fo-shizzle. Slang and jargon has its place (like here or here), but not in large doses in your business communication. And steer clear of the high school teenager lingo (LOL, OMG, BTW, ROTFLMAO, etc.) You never know who might see your e-mail. Choose your words carefully
- Proofread: It iss troo dat da mynd can prawsess (vairee kwiklee eye myte add) enkorecktlee speld wurds, but dew ewe reel-lee wahnt 2 puht yoor wreedur thru thaht. Any word processing software made in the last 20 years has some level of SpellCheck. Take the extra 30 seconds of care and use it. Unless yew theenk itz kewl to Miss Pell wurdz …
