If you feel that you are down in the dumps today because of financial burdens, you are not alone. Many of us are feeling the heat of the continued oil price increases and it makes you wonder what started it all. Better yet, who started it all?

Given a couple of choices, we only have to look at the mirror. Yes, sad as it is to accept, we are the ultimate reason as to why oil has escalated out of proportion, becoming scarce and a need that is slowly going dry.

There should be no finger pointing at this point. Some people have thrown a dagger eye to US President Bush while others have attributed it to the wars going on around the world in countries such as Iraq and Iran. Let us say that all of the are indeed factors but itemizing them one by one won’t solve anything.

The best thing to do now is brace for the worst scenarios. Lifestyles are bound to change and businesses to flounder. It is perhaps the worst setting we have to deal with but we just have to make the necessary arrangements for now and get on with life at the best capacity that we can.
