The process is tested cost effective with good ROI or Return of Investment. It does not require you to expend to some usual marketing expense like printing or transportation expense.

Internet marketing is associated with some business models such as e-commerce. It was defined as e-commerce because the product is sold directly to the costumers. There are many types of internet marketing; some of them are as follows:

1. SEO or search engine optimization – This is a way of optimizing your site to increased page rank and make it on top to those search engine sites.

2. PPC or paid per click advertising – This is a type of online marketing, wherein advertisers pay only base on how many times their site was clicked or opened.

3. Banners advertising – It is a way of embedding advertisement into some interesting web pages. When someone clicked that embedded advertisement, users will automatically direct to the site of that advertisement.

4. Online article submission – It is a way of writing all about your product/service and submitting those to some article submission site. It is like trying to reach your client by informing or giving details about your company.

5. Email marketing – It is a way sending emails via electronic mail. That email contains promotion letters about the company. Trying to reach out a possible market.

What makes Internet or online marketing popular? There are many aspects to be considered, why internet marketing is popular especially in United States. The main reason I think is number one, internet is all over. We can even communicate in our time using internet alone, by means of VOIP or voice over internet protocol, There are many companies who offered this kind of service like Skype, yahoo messenger and a lot more, there is no need for mobile phone. Secondly it was proven cost effective; in fact there are much low priced software available to be used in online marketing. Aside from that online marketing tip is just a clicked away to your net. It is available for free; all you need to have is patience, whoa. That’s the key to a success right? Patience.
