The Energy Crisis and Telecommuting

Well, it appears that the United States federal government has once again gotten it wrong. It really seems that regardless of whether there are Democrats or Republicans in office (including the supposed messiah of the environment Al Gore), the United States remains extremely retarded in their understanding of energy issues. For that reason and reasons that stem from that reason, there are very few energy analysts surprised at the most recent turn of events and even fewer that believe that the US has anyone to blame but themselves for the mess they are now in.
With that having been said however, the shooting up of demand and plateau of supply within the oil market has created problems for people all over the world, although in the United States with its unique suburb design the problems that middle class workers face have gotten to the level of ridiculous. A whopping $4 a gallon for gasoline has actually made some commutes too expensive for the job to be worth it and while there are many different solutions available, one that is going to be receiving a lot of play in the near future is telecommuting. In homage to that particular trend, Bloggy Biz will dedicate posting over the next month to addressing issues relating to telecommuting.
