David Gignilliat grew up in the Washington, DC area and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.

In addition to his diverse body of freelance work, David has worked with various degrees of success as a newspaper reporter, a stockbroker, a bartender and in an army of sales-related positions.

His writings have appeared in many periodicals, including The Washington Post, The Tahoe Daily Tribune and The South Magazine.

He now lives in a carriage house in Savannah, Ga.’s famed Historic District where he freelances for several publications and is working on a business plan to start his own regional general-interest men’s magazine.
